Should other people live their sex lives to conform to you aesthetic preferences?

I get hatemail, and it doesn’t surprise me.

 The fact is, that what I write is extremely offensive if taken without the understanding that this is about a certain section of BDSM; that it revolves around the sexual pleasure that some of us take from humiliation, degredation, name-calling, objectification and so on. Without that understanding I come off as an evil rape-apologist, massive mysogynist, women-hater and generally the scum of the earth.

To the extent feminism is about empowering women, making sex more accessible and enjoyable and getting past society using sexuality as a cudgel of social control, I'm with the feminists.

But when feminism becomes the cudgel for social control and attacking men, that's where I part ways with feminists.
